great insight to understanding what your ori is, I have a better understanding of how important our Ori is & what I need to do to change my destiny.
Amazing book!
From a christian or judiac point of view seemed a bit bigotted what with the inferior negro brain description and blaming the negro for his woes due to his own simple mindedness
I did learn a few things very short book seemed like 20 or so pages
The author is far too concerned with making Orisha religious beliefs line up with Abramhic religions. This does a disservice to the worldview of Orisha practitioners, which is complex, nuanced, and perfectly legitimate in its own right.
Tobe M. Correal' s ' Finding Soul on the Path of Orisha ' has a more approachable chapter on Ori and focuses on the positive aspects of Orisha religions as they are,not as outsiders to the traditions would prefer them to be.
very informative the info takes you out the box, and gives a whole new perspective of the Yoruba religion
Good read, short, but to the point. Good introduction to Yoruba philosophy.
Total waste of money. I won't recommend this book to anyone. This book is a Christian biased opinion of the author.
